Lowering the mounting arm appears to be a helpful trick for the 1DX II: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcnaOVh-ST4 . Hopefully they'll release a longer arm option (this 'trick' seems to bypass a safety feature to keep the arm from slipping out if the screws were to loosen).
If it works with the RED 6K, would expect the C200 (and maybe even C300 II) to work as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pmsj28ETj0k . Red 8K too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCp-v52RDwg
Definitely important to balance these heavier cameras carefully and to turn up the motors & sensitivity to max (isn't clear if the Crane 2 has an auto-tune feature as with the Ronins).
[EDIT] This is a better idea vs. the hack (keeps the safety feature of the design): https://www.amazon.com/Zhiyun-Gravity-Adjustment-EOS-1DX-Extending/dp/B0793LKDBP/
