Hi
Shooting a time-lapse I want to cut with some Canon Log footage. Will I be better off shooting raw or jpeg so that both will match? The environment is controlled(indoors).
Why would you not shoot in RAW? I know that some people shoot time lapse in JPEG in order to save card space, but that obviously isn't a problem if you have a 1DC. None of the JPEG picture profiles are close to CLOG. I just can't imagine a good reason not to shoot in RAW unless it is a space issue.
Yeah, that would probably work except that Canon doesn't let you shoot CLOG in JPEG and I don't think that any of the other JPEG formats would match without quite a bit of work that would be easier to do in RAW.
