16mm angx zoom on the gh1?

Hello everyone, i own a 12 to 120 ang zoom 2.8. I will be buying the gh1 in april and would love to use this lens. I also have access to the same lens but in the 35mm format its not fast however 3.4 or 4 i think. How will the 16mm format look on the gh1. I figured it should look the same as the 35mm one only the field of view would be different. The 35mm zoom is so heavy so i would like to go with the 16. Will there be any loss in resolution? Would my aspect ratio be 1:85? I read through the forums on cropping and such and figured with the 16mm zoom id just have to back up some more.
 
It's basically not gonna work. The 16mm lens's field of coverage will be way too small for the 4/3 sensor size, so you'll almost certainly end up with a little circle of coverage inside a great big black vignette.
