16GB Update interfering with Firestore???

Hello All,
I recently updated my cameras with the 16 GB firmware update and am now encountering a number of issues with the Firestore.
These issues are occurring in different cameras but with all firestores.
Issue 1 - When trying to record 24pN mode on firestore the firestore says it is full no matter how many times it is formatted. However works fine in 24p mode.
Issue 2 - on a separate camera the firestore records fine in all modes but will not playback in any. It simply gives the blue screen in 24pN mode whether it was shot in 24p or 24pN and in 24p even though both camera and firestore are set in 24p mode it says
1394 input error other format.

Any and all help would be appreciated

I think that's being caused by a camera setting. If I recall correctly, it has something to do with the UB MODE, which must be set to FRAME RATE.
 
"If the camera is set to a UB MODE other than FRM RATE, and record on the FS-100 goes to “no space left”. I saw this when UB MODE was set to USER. I did not see this when the camera’s UB MODE was set to TCG; in this case, I would expect the files would be unusable in the NLE.

The short answer is to set the AG-HVX200 UB MODE to FRM RATE and the problem will go away."

That solves issue #1,
However one camera still will not playback anything off the firestore.

That is correct the timecode on the firestore will roll but the MCR screen stays blue when I press the stop button the LCD will occationaly flicker but still remains blue. When it is played in 24p mode no matter how it was recorded I get an (1394 INPUT ERROR OTHER FORMAT)
