I ordered from B&H and have heard nothing but the shipments are later than panny said.... I also do not know if I am the 10th preorder or the 100th.... so who knows.... I guess I'll just piss my pants the day it arrives and surprises me.

My supplier in tokyo just emailed me. They still have no fixed date from panasonic but he said he expects them early june. I think everyone is waiting anxiously.....

Again, my distributor indicated that first batch comes in week of May 28th to fill very few pre orders.

avaline.com told me on Monday that the Panasonic rep was in that morning and said end of June delivery for my pre-order. Later that day I saw on this board that some people were getting theirs shipped from Abel Cine and another supplier that day. I called avalive and thay said that Panasonic still would have nothing before the end of June and that the rumour was that some dealers were pulling cards from new camers and selling them on the side if they didn't have an immediate buyer for the camera. They were referring to the higher end cameras, which I'm assuming, must come with at least one 16Gb card in them, not the HVX.

ya, Im pissed. I called av alive, I am 2nd on the list. They told me that panny is fulfilling all hpx orders first and the next batches are for us. Bol, these companies should get their facts straight. I work in the shoe industry and when most of the companies give me a date of arrival for product, they mean it. Panny is really screwing their bread and butter here.
