$160 desktop P2 card reader

Someone on the Cow is reporting positive experiences with this unit:

It's a PCI -> PCMCIA adapter, about $160, but it's front-mounted so you don't have to insert cards in the back of the computer.

Kind of cool for exporting back to P2...

But aren't most of us done handling the actual cards by the time we get back to a desktop?
At that point myself and everyone I know is working with either the dumped files or a P2 Store.
