SHORT: 16 and Pregnant

So obviously this film was geared for teenage girls. Unfortunately for a teenage guy who does shortfilms on youtube that's about the best fan base you can get. :P
But anyways, I am really interested in starting to make my shortilms and skits more like, well Short Films. As in professional. I have pretty good understanding of filmmaking and cinematography and lighting I'm not blind, I don't think the quality of my current stuff is bad - but I just know I can improve and it is not up to par with professionals. (obviously I just turned 16 so I'm not there yet) So I thought the best way to start was to get some advice. This link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBeNcnybAt0 is my most recent "sketch". Again keep in mind that it is geared for teenage girls. If you would please give me some tips to make it all come together better - maybe ideas that could have made some shots better etc. All criticism is accepted thanks!

you have a major serious problem with that film..... it has an Mtv logo on it. if you are not Mtv they are going to sue the arse off you and you will never work in this industry again! I suggest you reload it without the MTV logo.

Next you are 16.... so don't think you have a "good understanding of filmmaking and cinematography and lighting" you have some talent, a lot of enthusiasm, and no idea how much you don't know.

Apart from that I thought it was very good and very funny. try a parody of Jerry Springer or Jeremy Keil shows, I think you would do them well but steer clear of trade marks.

I lol'd in a few places. Enjoyed that. I think jagraphics is being a little too hard on you. Only criticism is the flat lighting, the out of focus shot in the dining room and the yellow text over white snow. Did you edit this? I thought editing was pretty good. Keep up the good work.
