C100: 16-35 MkII on C100

The Canon 16-35 Mark II is a great wide angle lens for both stills and video work. I have used it on my C300 with great results. However, you may want to hold out for the new Canon 16-35 f/4 with Image Stabilization that is coming out in June. It is priced a lot less than the 16-35 Mark II, has a 77mm filter thread (which is the same as all of my other Canon lenses), and has IS. I think the Image stabilization will come in very handy for wide angle video work. More info can be found here: http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consu...f_lens_lineup/ef_16_35mm_f_4l_is_usm#Overview

I don't use the 16-35 f2.8 very often but when I do I love it. Great lens. I'm not sure about the new F4 version. IS is always welcome but why didnt Canon make it STM? You would think with the 70D and C100 Dual Pixel Technology AF that they would be adding STM to all the new ones.
