When I use the 14-140mm on my GH2 hand held with the Mega OSI on I get fairly regular blips where the image does a brief jump. It looks a bit like the effect you might get if the camera was mounted on a tripod with the OSI switched on. It occurs at all positions of the zoom. At first I had thought it was me wobbling the camera but it is quite steady when these "jumps" occur. The VR on my D5100 seems more precise in comparison. The lens has the latest firmware. Any ideas?
