13:59 another "testvideo"

Appart from a couple of shots, for what I see, this was all shot without any lights, hence the documentary 'look'. I didn't particularly liked it to be honest. But thanks very much for finding and posting this.

I found one interesting thing in the BTS video. It's shot with a 5DmkII and honestly, dare I say, it looks cleaner than the C300 footage... it can be a dangerous thing having a 5DmkII side by side to any camera because it looks so nice.

I just downloaded the mp4 file and watched it on my 1080p LCD. Nothing short of remarkable; just plain beautiful footage - crisp, clean, clear, lots of tone and range. I know some of the higher ISO footage has noise, but at a proper viewing distance on the television, I couldn't notice it.

Watched the BTS as well, and of course it was noticeably softer and had less DR (especially in the night shots). But still looked good!

Looks like the 5DII footage was not pushed as high on the ISO in the night shots. It's not nearly as bright and clear as the C300 footage, and this may account for it looking cleaner. Also, the BTS is 720, while the actual short is 1080. But I have no doubt that at low ISO the 5DII footage is probably a bit cleaner, the C300 is not a noise-free camera.

what about these shaky moments in the train, its kind of shakes preaty bad, its not support IS on lenses?

but does it support IS on eos lenses? i just would like to know......, as i understood AF is not supported!

it would be funny to see a company like birger or similar creating an adopter for Canon c300 that will support AF and IS on Canon lenses!

It does support IS on EOS lenses. AF is not supported. Also, still waiting on Birger for their adapter.......who knows when.

Another behind the scenes video.

The C300 really does look like a large DSLR

Or should that be a DSLR on steroids!! :)

Exciting times. Looking forward to the Nikon offerings as well (D4, D800). So many options; HD cameras are finally starting to mature. I've been waiting for these cameras since 2003! Though, my dream camera is still not out yet, they are getting close.

The options have expanded, and next year should be good with 2nd Gen dslr's - for those of us that want a nice personal image making device, or low profile shooting.
