1080p live capture

[Hans Moleman]

would this work?

HVX200 shooting 1080 24pa, capturing in PPro2.0

on an intel core 2 duo laptop

saving to a WD 7200rpm HDD.

all connected by firewire 4 pin and six pin.

is there a bottleneck that would keep this from working?

[THoff]

Yeah, PPro doesn't support DVCProHD and can't capture it...

[Barry_Green]

Won't work in Premiere Pro 2.0, as THoff says there's no capture support in Premiere Pro 2.0. You could use DV Rack 2.0 HD to do that though.
