I've learned quite a bit here and wonder if someone can just check over
what I think right now is the best workflow for this project.
Here are the particulars:
Avid MC Adrenaline (no DNexcel)
HD project to be delivered on HDcam 1080i for broadcast TV.
Will shoot lots of footage (maybe P2/maybe DVCProHD)
My main question has to do with the shooting resolution.
If they shoot 720pN for aesthetic and card space reasons,
will there be any issue in "upscaling" to the HDcam master?
Or should they simply shoot 1080i?
How bout 720p vs. 720pN any issues in the Avid with one over the other?
Sounds like many options are possible, can someone recommend a workflow assuming again that the deliverable format is 1080i,
clients will likely want most "filmic" shooting mode.
