I was just given a pile of 1080i footage (several hours) that was shot in what appears to be 24PA, however there's an interlaced frame every fourth frame, and the movement is very jerky.
Neither Vegas or Raylight Maker will remove the frame, leaving me to think that it's 24P and not 24PA footage.
I tried different frame rates within Vegas with little or no effect.
The footage will be edited on a 24P timeline. What can be done to (A) determine the shooting mode and (B) get rid of the interlaced 4th frame (and hopefully solve the jerkiness at the same time)?
