I was just avput to download some footage via firewire from the hvx200 to
macpro. After trying to import from the p2 , i recieved this message

"The current capture drives are too full. please remove files from these or select a new capture scratch location."

Could anyone please tell me how i could delete some of my files or footage so i can edit this more important footage?

Thanks,

Many thanks again. No, too much literature, Very intimidating, makes my brain wanna explode. Did i mention im lazy? Although Im getting along fairly well. Ive also neglected all my equiptment because of my girlfriend. But she's gone to college now, So its going Down. I dont even know what OS X is? Im lucky enough to producing a movie with a few superstars starting tommorow.Im sure there is alot more i need to know,. I was going to make an EPK for a model/actress/singer and i just wanted to quicky dump the last card on my cpu.
This is my first time to fill up the harddrive.Im very dissapointed with space. But they told me that was the best they had in stcok, plus i had to wait a few days for it to come out.But i think i can upgrade somehow.

thanks,

Jeez Jack.

If you want people to assist, you have to contribute to the process. Being lazy as you say you are isn't much of an excuse. Nor is a girlfriend, or whether the dog ate your homework.

Glad you're producing a movie with a few superstars tomorrow . . . but it's not excuse for not learning the basics of editing movies on your computer today on your own.

Best wishes with the movie and the superstars.

After reading a few other posts from this guy, I think he is yanking a few chains!

Dont worry , I wont leave yall in the dust. Special thanks to everyone who's helped me, on the credits. My shoot starts tonight. i just got back from SouthCoast film & video. They were a big help to me. Especially a future star named Jimmy Lee. Who im going to hook up.

Quick question

where exactly do you plug in the headphones ? I looked all over

Im about to delete all the footage off my macpro

The only way i know is click each file one by one and pressing the delete button

I cant figure out how to drag and dump the whole file to the trash can?

If you run the lead up your pant leg, either leg, then poke around a bit, you will eventually find a small hole. Plug it in there.

PS: This worked for me, there's no guarantee that it will achieve the same result for you.

Thanks

I was actually serious. I rented headphones, Thought it might be a good idea. looked all over could find the hole. I Didnt try the pant leg thing. Im glad it worked for you though.

If you plug the headphones into a sink spiggot and turn OIS off, you might be able to recreate that "clunking noise" in your cranium.
