I have seen lots of talk about a 1000th post video. What is the protocol for such a thing and were did this come from. My 1000th should not be too far away?

just something folks started doing back in the day that used to be fun...

Until Brandon was making a 1k, 2k, 3k, 4k, 5k, 6k video every week, then it got kind of overdone :)

But, no one has really done one in a while...

Protocol, is make one if you want. don't if you don't want...

Larry has a database of some of them from back in the day... I think Barry Green's was pretty awesome. A hard one to top :)

Ok, I just spent 4 hours tracking down all the dates to get these in the right order (important as many play off each other), so here's what I have in my collection from DVXuser history:

5-13-2005. Hudson started it all (I think?) with his 10k video: http://dvxuser.mikkowilson.com/postvideos/hudson10k.mov
5-14-2005. To which TC responded: http://dvxuser.mikkowilson.com/postvideos/TC_hudson.wmv
5-15-2005. And then Antomic took his shot: http://dvxuser.mikkowilson.com/postvideos/antomic.mov
7-11-2005. A few months later, PK hit 2k: http://dvxuser.mikkowilson.com/postvideos/PK2k.mov
10-26-2005. Then Barry Green hit 10k: http://dvxuser.mikkowilson.com/postvideos/barry10k.wmv
1-5-2006. Horse went back to the now classic DVXuser style for his 3k: http://dvxuser.mikkowilson.com/postvideos/horse3k.mov
2-8-2006. Brandon bricemanned his way to 1K in no time: http://dvxuser.mikkowilson.com/postvideos/brandon1k.mov
2-8-2006. Krestofre hit 1k the same day: http://dvxuser.mikkowilson.com/postvideos/krestofre1k.mov
3-5-2006. Then Brandon hit 2k (he posted a lot back then): http://dvxuser.mikkowilson.com/postvideos/brandon2k.mov
3-10-2006. TC took it to the next level with his 6k extravaganza: http://dvxuser.mikkowilson.com/postvideos/TC6k.mov
3-20-2006 I (mikkowilson) shook it up by posting a 1 year video: http://dvxuser.mikkowilson.com/postvideos/mikkowilson1y.wmv
3-21-2006. Then Larry R hit 1K the next day: http://dvxuser.mikkowilson.com/postvideos/larry_r1k.wmv
3-22-2006. Enivision (now known as Norm Sanders) hit 2K the day after that: http://dvxuser.mikkowilson.com/postvideos/envision2k.wmv
6-5-2006. Then Blaine hit 3k: http://dvxuser.mikkowilson.com/postvideos/blaine3k.mov
11-14-2006. The last one I have, is my own (mikkowilson) "yellow extravaganza" when I became a mod: http://dvxuser.mikkowilson.com/postvideos/mikkowilson_yellow.wmv

There are many other celebratory posts out there in the archives, and even some videos that I never got and the links are now dead. If anyone knows of any others, send me the links and I'll get them added to the archive!
