10" 1024x600 monitor with battery and HDMI input for your upcoming GH2, $130 only

Mr. Viner Chan,
Is it possible that you can find us separate Wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver for reasonable price?

Cheers

7" or 8" monitor with a built-in sunshade... please!!!

As far as I know Lilliput now have such models.
Plus 10" model will be adaptation, and not completely new device.
This is why I think that it is not extremely good idea to demand 7" or 8" screen.
If 10" model will have success, I think they'll consider making 7-8" model and 5-6" model.

As for sunshade, I prefer to have velcro mounted shade to cheap plastic ones.

It's called the AirsyncHD - it's available now at a reasonable price - Made by Zinwell in Taiwan, and it has FCC Approval.

Trust me, you don't want to cross streams with the FCC. They are Bad Dudes.

GH* body + 10" screen seem so unbalanced... unless you show me the picture of your rig setup... please!

You need FCC certification only if you are selling throught official USA distributors.
Direct shipping won't be affected in any way.

Dan,
I did test both ASUS wi-cast and Zinwell AirsyncHD. Both are fantastic unit but non-off them have any suitable power solution (Unless DIY).
I'm just searching for complete portable set built-in battery.

I'm selling your choice of P-Tap to Brite-View or Canon LP-E6 to brite-view for $200 shipped in the Continental US. Email me if you want one.

Thanks for offer Dane,
Currently, I'm using my own DIY P-tap to Car cigarette lighter (12 vdc to USB 5vdc 2Am) with V-lock battery on RED.

I am having a hard time using this monitor with my 5D. It works fine until I hit record, and then the monitor goes black and my camera stops recording after 2 seconds. The camera works fine when I connect it to my TV, so I am assuming (and I could be completely wrong on this) that the monitor is having a hard time switching to SD (480p) after I hit record. Is there a way to force the monitor into SD when I have it connected through HDMI?

Start by selling your 5D and buying a Gh2 and a bunch of Voigtlander M series lenses with an M-to M4/3 adapter? Sorry just kidding. Had to do it.

Apart from the problem with your 5d how are you finding ? how is the screen? usable for exterior shots?

I only received my mini hdmi cord today so this was the first I was able to use it. I even still have the plastic on the screen. I am shooting a short next week and I'll report back here with my experiences with the monitor, if I am able to find a solution to the current problems that I am having.

Good luck! I look forward to hearing about it :-)

This monitor has small issues with EDID as mentioned in my review.
I hope that they'll be able to fix it in unpoming updates.
As for 5D. It has issue with switching resolution upon record, and it looks like it can't find proper mode in EDID table and hence stops.
