This was shot en route to the Manimal Vinyl concert in Joshua Tree, October 2010.

Prior to stopping in at the venue, we traversed the lands of high desert in search of something. The sense of utter isolation that tends to err on the side of apparition in a city like Los Angeles, packed to the brim with bustling life. Obsolete buildings, detritus of life from before. This is the antithesis of modern culture, this is Joshua Tree, where the clocks stopped at 1:17.

Alive and kicking, working constantly (The Harry Potters, Green Hornet et al) hence my absence. Things have changed alot over the past 5 years. Et tu Isaac?
