If You are able to see SAT.1, watch it on 2005-11-10, 11:15 p.m.. The whole broadcasting was filmed with the JVC in its 25p mode.

Three days ago a man from Panasonic Broadcast Europe told me, that in Europe the HVX200 will be sold only with two P2 cards à 8 GB inclusive. No chance to get the camera without the two cards. That means, the price, you have to pay for the HVX, will be much higher than in America for instance...
If You life in or nearby Berlin, Neu Anspach, Wiesbaden, Ludwigsburg or Munich, just have a look here: http://panasonic-broadcast.de/index.cfm?uuid=34A137CDC09F11269B138EAFB474FED8.
To sum up, you can say that the JVC GY-HD100 has the following problems regarding the picture:
1. Chromatic aberration
2. Smear (http://www.time-code-media.de/blitzer.jpg, http://www.time-code-media.de/blitzer2.jpg)
3. Split screen (http://www.time-code-media.de/split.jpg)
4. Dead pixels...
Here are two pictures shot with the HD100. How could you avoid the smear?

Yesterday Canon Germany published its first information about the new XL H1, where You can read, that the camera will record 1080 in 25p(rogressive)! Available from December 2005 for 9.149,00 Euro (incl. of VAT). Here is the source...
At the Panasonic homepage you can read, that the camera will have a 1/3" 16:9 native progressive 3-CCD imager - does that mean, that the CCDs will have a resolution of 1280 x 1080 respectively 1.382.400 pixels each, at least?
May somebody explain to me, what the differences are between an interlaced and a progressive working CCD? I know, what interlaced and progressive means, but not according to a CCD. Can an interlaced working CCD not also work as a progressive one and the other way round?
Now the whole "under 10.000" discussion has an end. JVC Pro UK has notified: "The [...] list price, including 16x Fujinon zoom lens, will be under 6,000€ (Six thousand Euros)." Read it at: http://www.jvcpro.co.uk/news/releases_html?atype=release&releaseID=1192.
Although the HVX-200 seems to have no DVCPRO HD-LP mode, I would like to know, how this mode works. I have read, that it uses only half of the track width, and so there is a double play duration. But then is there also a lack of quality?
Will the HVX200 come in two version, one for NTSC (480i/p) and another one for PAL (576i/p), or will there be one for all? And, by the way, 1080p - does that not mean 1920 x 1080 pixel and three CCDs with 2.073.600 pixel each? I am totally confused...
