Have tried to load images into editor but says cannot be processed, have tried the jpegs, and raw, neither works, saved both as tiff. changed the preferences to rgb adobe and montor profile, as the tutorial on Canon indicated, can't figure it out, doesn't have a help, anyone have an idea

I set up in manual, my focal, iso, etc, using a tamron 3.5 28-300 lens, set it to 3.5 and locked it, I thught, when I went from 28 to 300 mm the focal went to 6.5, how can I lock this, all other settings don't move

If I shoot 1080i 29.97 and capture in V8 will it de-interlace compared to capturing with cineform avi de-interlaced, compared to de-interlacing with virtual dub, with clip eventually going to 29.97p in vegas to mpeg4. suggestions for best and optimal method

I just took some footage in 1080i on my V1 and captured thru cineform as an avi file and deinterlaced it with cineform. In Vegas 8 I put the clip on the timeline as 24p according to my properties as HDV 1080-24p (1440x1080, 23.976 fps) progressive. I made a mpeg4 clip from it and a mpeg2 dvd...
