http://imdb.com/title/tt0449467/ http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/babel/ Hey Guys, Just saw Babel and I'm still not so sure how I feel about it. Anyone else have a strong opinion, positive or negative, about this film? I'm curious to see what everyone else's impression was. Inarritu...

It seems that some people here recommend saving copies of projects as Uncompressed files so there is no quality loss in future transfers. Will, I did this with one of my shorts (using Compressor to make an Uncompressed 10 Bit File), and when I took the Uncompressed 10 Bit video, dropped it into...

Hey, I just wanted to post a big THANK YOU to Matt and Jeremy, as well as all the other contributors here. I finally got GOOD sound. This is largely due to the knowledge you guys have taken the time to share on this board. So thanks. Jeremy, I'm almost done building my audio package...

Okay, I know that this sounds like an insane question. I didn't know where else to post this. But, I'm planning on shooting something that takes place inside of a refridgerator, all the characters being various condiments, etc. I'd like to rig a used fridge (from a dump) so that I can have...

I'm looking to hire/collaborate with an audio mixer (must have own equipment) on my next short film project. I'm still in pre-production (storyboards, location scouting, etc.), but want to start talking to a sound person about what I'll need, what I should look out for at my locations, etc. now...

Hey guys, I just shot a short that takes place in a small restaurant. I want to place some music in the background that won't be distracting, that sounds like it would be playing in a restaurant. Maybe some cheesy, grocery storish jazz track. Anyone know a good source on the web? I...

Simple question that I have not been able to find a simple answer to after much searching. In the After Effects Output Module, should I export my movie with Lower Field First checked, or since I shot in 24PA, should I not select any field order since it is progressive? Just curious because I...
