Looking to hire a Sound Person

I'm looking to hire/collaborate with an audio mixer (must have own equipment) on my next short film project. I'm still in pre-production (storyboards, location scouting, etc.), but want to start talking to a sound person about what I'll need, what I should look out for at my locations, etc. now. Any sound people in the Charlottesville, VA area? And even if you're not, would any of you experienced sound gurus be willing to look at my script and give me some advice on how to get the SFX I'll need, how to mic scenes, things to watch out for at the locations in the script, etc? It's a 25 page script, good read. I'd appreciate any help I can get, as audio has ever been the biggest challenge for me. I want to focus a lot of energy on it with this new project of mine. If any of you helpful people are interested in checking out my script, let me know and I'll e-mail you a copy. Thanks guys.

p.s. I'm hoping to start shooting mid-November, probably a 2-3 day shoot I'm thinking. Haven't worked out a budget yet b/c the entire budget will pretty much be for sound, and since I've never hired a sound person before I'm not sure what to expect. From what I've read, it's looking like someone with their own equipment will probably cost $200-$300 a day. Any info on rates would be appreciated too.
