Yes but now we are able to get a practical camcorder for cheap. Imagine the people who are extremely preventive on the camcorder vs DSLR debate. Imagine having a client who acts strange like, "you're taking photos?" now is able to recognize you have a camcorder now.
Looking at this price now, Canon Cinema Camcorders are definitely looking much more a viable option for a beginner filmmaker than a DSLR. You get everything you could have gotten in a DSLR for much cheaper with a more practical treatment given to you say as opposed to had you spent so much money...
Hello folks, I made a mistake when giving a download to Tragiclantern. Apologies for not realizing it. Forgot to include the installer.
On youtube below the youtube video is a link to the proper tragiclantern build.

After since some deep research, I found a rechargable phantom power adapter that goes up to 48+ Volts and I'll be buying the Audio Technica 875R
Thank you NorBro. I hope your advice works out in the end.
The Azden I'm keeping for now in storage until I figure out what is wrong with it.
My SGM-1x I started using and I noticed that its audio is extremely muffled and distorted to where it isn't usable and possibly broken. I'm looking for a replacement for an Azden mic. The issue is though I'm looking for a mic that is very durable but one I can pick up for cheap. I'm reading...
I'm going to say something that is captain obvious, but to get it out of the way,
you've made sure that you have a strong secure lock on the equipment and that according to manufacturer your equipment can handle the weight distribution from said equipment right?
