I know a lot of you all are getting old as I am too as I'm getting close to 30 soon. You know how do you all keep on moving forward despite having to lose the parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents, cousins, uncles, and aunts who all were your real audience?
It's heartbreaking to me to see the people who I made my films for such as the films I plan on making about the beauty of family, the love story about a guy wandering the streets of New York City finding the love of his life, and the comedy sketches about my cats was all from my family.
Lately though it's been bothering me as my grandmother passed away. She was the real true audience member I made for. If I could trade all of my views on youtube just to have my grandmother watch my nature photography again, I would.
How did you all deal with this loss as a filmmaker? It's specific to filmmaking as in it's your audience that influenced you to make the films you made, family.
