Planning on a mondo motorcycle trip soon and wondered if anyone had any issues putting an A7rii in the hard saddlebags of a Harley? Well actually any of the A series I guess. I never had an issue with my canon cameras and Kawasaki's in the past. I'm new to the Sony line and this will be my first...

Can't figure this out. Shot on XH A1, bring it in to FCP 6 HDV 30P and pans and optical zooms are stuttering like mad. Tested 24P and it stutters, tested 60i and it stutters too. Watched the raw footage out of my camera via component out on a 55" screen and it looks fine. Any ideas? I can't...

So lately I've been shooting a lot of web-based commercials as a side hobby to my recording studio business and they're pretty straight forward. Along with an occasional DVD production or a promo spot for a conference or two, that's my knowledge of passing off file formats to the end user...

Posted a short shot with the A1. Feedback would be great if you've got a minute... http://vimeo.com/6481712

Went to a “best of” film festival showing last night. I did scut work on a film that didn’t make it, but it did raise my curiosity about the local indie scene. The one thing in common in just about every one of the twelve films viewed last night was that the highlights were blown out. Some far...

I've just got to share this stunning find with someone. Notice the subtle hints that make this probably one of the most dynamic and influential bands of our time. I'm a musician and it's hard to believe I'm just hearing about these guys now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukjnrXTTvPY

A friend of mine got an endorsement deal for Paiste cymbals a month ago and they wanted a promo spot for their web site to go along with some stills I took. Here's what I ended up with- http://vimeo.com/2610692 Shot on a 100b that now, thankfully, seems to be getting a lot of use lately.

Wrote a song and made a video- feedback is appreciated.... http://vimeo.com/2163508

So while I'm out-and-about a few blocks from my house all heck breaks loose with the local police. They are freakin' everywhere. Like 15 in a two block area. Roads blocked off, major upheaval. Since I'm only blocks from my house I run home and grab one of my cameras and figure maybe I can get...

So I park my motorcycle next to my front door last night, just like I do all summer long. I get up this morning only to find someone has stolen my spare helmet and carry bag that I had strapped on tight to the sissy bar with several bungee cords. They obviously were in no hurry. I live at the...

So my first real video shoot went from taping a friends band live to a legal issue with the bands record label. The settlement between the two has me delivering the edited version of their upcoming single to the label for promotional use. They wanted it on Beta tape but I don’t have that...
