Anyone know how to bring in the mxf audio files into Vegas? Thanks!!!!!!

I was wondering if there is direct support in FCP for MXF files? Can you just drag and drop them off the camera or P2 cards and start editing the vid and audio? Over all is there good supprot for the HVX in FCP? thinking of going apple and fcp from the PC. Thanks

What is the correct way to import audio clips from a HVX into Vegas? I can bring in the video but not the audio?

Does Premier do all the things you need of it with the HVX? Is the workflow simple? I am looking for the best editing package for use with my HVX pc or apple? I have been having problems getting the camera to work with my PC apps and looking into Apple as a solution?? Please advise. Thanks

I pull MXF files right off the HVX on to my pc. I convert the MXF via connect HD and those come in fine into my VEGAS edit suite. I just can't figure how to bring in the audio clips. Does connect HD fuse the video and audio together, or should it?

Anyone have problems using the firewire cable that is tiny on both ends? I can't seem to get the 1394 device to connect. No problem however with USB

So there may be a thread on this? Has anyone had any sucsess trying a PCMCIA adapter card with a flash card in it, this would be a reaplacement for a p2 card in theory??? just a thought.
