I just picked up an FZ2500 and was shooting 50mb 1080 footage today and the camera dropped out of record a few times. Is this a writing to the card issue?

What are the odds the Panasonic will address the latency in the audio vs video on the UX 180? With no rumors of a new camera coming out I hope they continue to make advancements in the UX.

Has anyone found a zoom controller for the UX180 that they like. I bought a Libec unit and it seems to optimized for LANC units vs Panny. I'm in the hunt for a unit that has variable zoom speed etc. Varizoom perhaps??

Has anyone in the group found a custom Scene File that they prefer for a baked in look rather than on to be tweaked in post?

I do wish the UX180 had a place too put your thumb when hand holding. You don't have a natural place to put your thumb, perhaps making the space between the record button and the side of the camera a little larger so you could put your thumb there when shooting for more than a few minutes and...

Does Panasonic offer any software for offline viewing and logging like Sony has with Clip Browser or Catalyst Browse? Something I didn't consider when making the jump from the Sony boat.

I'm going to be shooting a 2 cam job using my UX 180 and an A7s. What are the brain trusts thoughts on camera matching. Should I shoot flat on one of the cams to make matching the 2 easier in post?

I did a quick demo of the UX180 and the footage I shot indoors in HD seemed rather noisy at 0db in low light at f4.5. The blacks seemed buzzy with a lot of grain. Did I have it set up incorrectly or is it indeed noisy in HD. The DVX200 seemed to be much cleaner which has me thinking perhaps I...
