Does anyone have any experience using the VariCam with the Pro-35 adapter? What would be the cheapest package with the adapter and cheap 35mm lenses? If anyone has any advice or better solutions to this package, advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in the market for an HDV camera, and the V1U and XHA1 are my top choices. Any suggestions for which one I should buy? Experience with either camera? Both have very similar specs, just the XH A1 shoots in '24f' and the V1U in '24p'.
