    Best way to convert AVCHD to ProRes

    I have the HMC 150. I have a macbook Pro (Intel Core 2 Duo) 2.66 GHz I Edit with Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 Obviously the footage is a strain on my system. Its very slow & choppy when scrubbing & Editing. I can't change anything right now. What I have is what I have for at least a couple months...

    AVCHD vs SD

    Don't you miss shuttling through footage in 1 hour block of time? I do. I just editied my first HD project. what a drag going through all those clips. scrubbing through hours of footage was part of my creative process! anyone else feel the same?
