    HVX-200 and Blacklight phase problem

    Howdy! I did a shoot test when I had 4 blacklights next to the camera. I was shooting 60 frames, 720pn for slo-mo.     Digi-green or Greenscreen?

    I'm going to be shooting against a greenscreen. Is it recommended to use a "Digi-green" colored backdrop? Is that better for the HVX200?

    post-update 8GBP2 import problem

    My powerbook no longer recognizes my 8GB P2 card, even when I "rescan" in FCP P2 import window. I easily imported from the card before...that was before I updated the firmware! Has the firmware update done something screwy to my workflow, or am I doing something wrong? Thank you.

    backup recording? To disk?

    page 46 of the manual explains backup recording. I still don't understand- does this mean record in real time to disk, or once you have footage on a P2 you connect with FireWire and transfer it? I hooked up the cam and tried to capture w/FCP. No dice.

    no 83 Min tapes?

    Hvx200 manual states "do not use 83 min tapes". Anyone know why? I haven't tried it, out of fear.
