Digi-green or Greenscreen?

I'm going to be shooting against a greenscreen. Is it recommended to use a "Digi-green" colored backdrop? Is that better for the HVX200?
 
If digi-green is green you'll be fine.

One is not better than the other.

That comes down to how you light/shoot/post.
 
Is it professional? No, but I get decent results from $4/yard fabric from JoAnn's Fabrics or something like that.
 
ive used digi-green and chroma-green side by side and i find digi-green gives better results with the hvx.
digi green is brighter in color and takes less light to properly illuminate

reflecmedia isnt just a material choice - its a whole different ball game and from my experience its only well suited for certain uses - at least in my opinion.
 
HA! yep - nothing like transparent little rings in someones eyes to creep the hell out of a viewer!

i was onscreen myself for about 90 minutes using a reflec setup. made me kinda dizzy after a while
