This is on a 2017 iMac running OS12.2 and Premiere 22.2.0.
So when the footage is played in finder or QT or in Premiere in source monitor it looks just like it does when played on the iphone, when I drop it into the program monitor it becomes WAY overexposed... see attached. Other footage shot...
Been meaning to switch back to FCP after years of Premiere... and now FINALLY am trying. My 1st attempt is going well. BUT I have green horizontal lines the flash over any footage I've blown up or added lots of FX to. see pic. Also comes out in export to vimeo on on computer. Any thoughts? I'm...
I only need to do backups (from GH5 SD card to 2 USB drives) and then a simple stringout edit in the field. Love to ditch a 3lbs laptop for a 1lbs iPad.
Any one offer best practices for 1st backing up GH5 to USB drive via iPad pro with an adapter - which one is best?
Then can you edit from the...
Ok - so my 2013 iMac is getting pretty old. I was really hoping for a new iMac today... Oh well. But I still need a new edit machine... so
I'm wondering what you all think would be the best option for running Premiere Pro CC 2018 version.
Refurbished 2017 iMac, new Mac-Mini with Blackmagic eGPU...
I did the update, as I've done many times in the past since GH4 days... no problem. BUT now a few seconds after I turn on the camera I hear a click then get a message saying "Please turn camera off and then on again"... So, I turn it off and on, but still get the message after a moment. I tried...
Hey - is there a company or Adobe certified expert that can come look at my editing rig and figure out WTF is going on? I had a stable system then updated system, Premiere software, and cuda drivers and now its a mess. Gladly pay for someone to get it
back running smoothly.
I get the Spinning beach ball for 1-2 sec after every move, edit, cut, and so on... basically if I do ANYTHING in premiere
even just push space to play the timeline I get a moment delay then it plays. It is really frustrating and KILLS any flow.
Did not have this issue with the old version...
So for the past year I've been using 64GB SanDisk SDXC cards and the GH5 always showed the correct amount of time remaining. ie if the card said I had 58minutes available and I recorded a 40 minute clip it would say I had 18 minutes remaining.
I just bought a pair of 128GB cards (same speed and...

I used to use a cage, but in my effort to make my rig even smaller I now just use a manfrotto quick release knock off. The tripod plate fits a Sachtler Ace tripod - quick and easy from handheld to tripod. I put an Israeli or magic arm on the manfrotto side and use it...
So with the intel bugs, I'm wondering about updating all my system software vs. keeping the setup I've been using and is fairly rock solid for the past year. I assume this would apply to most editors who have their system dialed in, but for the record I'm on a Mac running OS 10.11.6 using...
I obviously hit some key combo that turned on the feature that plays only the in to out point. When it gets to the outpoint it stops. If the playhead is somewhere in between and I hit space bar it jumps back to the in point. I just want it to play when I hit space and keep playing till I hit it...
Anyone done pixel peeping rez / aliasing tests of the various frame rates? links? The general consensus on the GH4 was 96fps was soft and one should step it down to 72fps for better slow motion. I'm finding at times 90, 120, 135 are WORSE than 180... other times they are cleaner. 150 seems worst...
