I'm trying to record via the Onyx 1220 and a dbx 166xl compressor via firewire into Soundtrack Pro. I know the Mackie Firewire shoots out pre-everything so the eq and inserts aren't part of that send for each channel. But I thought I read somewhere that it also sends the mains after eq/inserts...

My searches couldn't find this addressed, although it may have been. Is there any way to send an edited FCP timeline back to the HVX for viewing on an HD TV (i.e. w/o a matrox or aja box/card)? Thanks for your ideas.
