So, I finally finished my movie.
I edited both 24p (not 24pa) and 60i in the same timeline (29.97), exported via M2V in compressor for DVD Studio Pro.
Once viewed (and burned) in DVD Studio Pro, the quality is compromised a little bit. The picture below show what I'm talking about.

I'll try to explain this the best way possible....
I have a bunch of project files for a movie that i'm working on. I felt it was easier to edit in a bunch of different projects, and then combine them into one solo project at the end. However, once I lay all the edited video+audio from the...

About 1/2 was filmed with DVX, the other 1/2 were some crappy 1 and 3CCD cameras.

Hey-
I'm looking for a plugin/effect that could give me a "TV" look. This is hard to decribe, but I want something that will make the clip distorted, pixelated, and look like it was recorded off of a monitor or TV. I suppose I could just record it off of the TV screen and use that clip, but...
I'm in the process of producing a sports/comedy DVD and I'm at a loss to figure out what to call my "studio". It would basically be domain name for my website. I want something unique, and everyone I look up has been taken.
I've thought of
BackWoods Payback= a metal band

This is how I am planning to film and edit a professional downhill and freeride video this summer. Please correct me if you would do anything differently or you find a fault.
1) Film in 24p... high shutter speeds for fast moving shots, etc
2) Shoot in 60i for shots that I would want to slow...
I know this question has been asked a million times, but I still don't get it....
When is it appropriate to shoot in 24pA? I usually just shoot in 24p and 60i for slowmo, and then edit on a 29.97 timeline.
Sometimes I'm filming a high moving object (a biker), and I feel as if there is a bit of...
please help, I am at wits end here.
I am trying to export a 24p progressive project through compressor 2.0 (the new one) for DVD.
I choose DVD- Best Quality 90 Minutes- MPEG2 6.2 MBPS 2 Pass
It exports just fine, but then I don't have any audio in the movie file!!!
I've tried this tons of...
I'm having a problem with my DVX that I can't figure out for the LIFE of me.
When I burn my footage to a DVD and view on my television, the footage skips horribly. Its almost like it plays 5 frames forward, 1 backwards, 5 forward, 1 backward, etc.
As far as I can tell, it's only with the 24P...
Check out my videos under Podcast on my site.
The quality is less than ideal, but it's enough to give me some pointers
