I have a camera guy who shot several days using the letterbox feature on the DVX100, but our show requries anamorphic (squeeze). Is there any way to use/save this footage? Thanks in advance

Hey, this is my first time here so sorry if this is a newbie question. I'm digitizing dvx100 footage that has been shot in widescreen mode in an Final Cut Pro system. However once this footage comes in it is cropped! Yet when I digitize DVX100A footage shot in 16:9 it comes in the right way...
