Ronin sc is stock the cheapest version. The lens is so heavy that it always tilts forward even if the plate is maxed out on the heavy side.
Is it even possible to balance that combo on Ronin SC,, or should I have gotten Ronin S instead? Or maybe there is a possibility to order some...
Hello,
I was super sure that I will buy 10-25 F1.7 that I even bought an expensive ND filter to it, but now I realised for the price of 10-25 I could get both
12-35mm AND 35-100mm F.28. So I need help persuading...
Should I stick to the plan and wait for the sequel of 10-25 so I would have two...
Hello,
I want to get into anamorphic shooting but I dont know where to start. I have GH4, GH5, Leica 25 1.4, Rokinon 12 2.0, Oly 45 1.8, Oly 30mm 3.5.
What MFT lenses I need to buy to shoot anamorphic? I get that they are expensive... but the cheapest ones?
Or maybe some adapters to use with...
I cant find the option.. If I set the camera to 4K 50p, and put down convert into 1080i, does it send 1080 50i?
If I put the camera to 1080 25P and no downconvert, it sends 1080 25P?
I remember in GH4 I used manual focus but also had this thing turned on that when I press the shutter button halfway it autofocuses.
How do I set it up the same in GH5?
Btw, the new update is great.
I have a feeling whenever I edit and export the 10bit MP4 files from GH5 that Adobe exports them as 8bit.. Do I have to put export as the source files or what?
Any help is appreciated as always.
So in V-log the minimum iso can be 400. I had the f stop at maximum and iso at 400 and it showed over exposure. But when I put it into auto it showed the exposure is correct.
Why is it so, does it mean in auto iso it can go below iso 400??
Hello, I have come to the conclusion that Vlog is the way to go with GH5.
But since Im not so good at grading can anybody recommend me some links, youtubers etc where I can find best info what the correct workflow would be
when handling VlogL.
Thanks for any replies and sorry for writing here...
I seem to get different images even though I have both cameras on natural and same settigns, could it be that one camera uses a different lens that the colors are not exactly same? The lenses I use are 12mm Rokinon and Leica 25mm.
I remember in GH4 the V-log without external recorder had some purple/green spots to the footage.. Is that issue gone in GH5??
Anybody shoot without external recorder and in Vlog can verify this?
When I compare the two cameras the Gh5 image looks softer, it has this anti-alias, /noise reduction feel to it.. I thougth they got rid of the low pass filter,, I have put all the automatic settings off..Maybe the difference comes from using 10bit on GH5?
Anybody else prefers gh4 and thinks its...
Havent found the option to change the color, is it even possible?
For some reason the focus peaking is easier to see on my GH4 and I think its because I have it on light blue instead of the darker blue that GH5 is.
