Is there anyway to jam sync the timecode with another camera? In other panasonic cameras you can use free run and the cameras can be set to master and slave to sync the timecode thru composite video connector.
LTM lighting the manufacturer of pepper lights and HMIs is apparently out of business, although I haven't found any absolute confirmation, there website is no where to be found. Anyone have any information?
I'd like to hear which still zoom lenses people like using for their AF 100. Two of my favorites are the sigma 50-150 2.8 and the Tamron 17-50 2.8 in nikon mounts. I like the fact that they are both constant 2.8, parafocal and moderately priced. I've also heard good things about the Tokina 28-70...
I'm trying to determine which 17-50 or 24-70 2.8 lense would be the best for the AF 100. I'm looking for the following criteria
constant 2.8 or faster
parafocal
smooth zoom
no iris glitches during zoom
smooth focus
sharp at all focal lengths and wide open
I'm currently have the tamron(nikon...
I just got the Olympus 45mm 1.8 m43 lense and it works really nice for interviews and it doesn't break the bank. I've mostly used 2.8 zooms in the past because of the need to re frame quickly buts it great to have another option with a faster lense to blur that background for only $385.00...

I just received my AF 100 and I am noticing ghosting in the viewfinder, which is any light object in the frame I am seeing a latent image of it in the viewfinder, not on the lcd or on a monitor. Has anyone else seen this or do I have a defective camera?
With all the momentum of large chip cameras being released is anyone buying 2/3 cameras for production? I'm guessing that when more video friendly lenses are available for large chip cameras it will be the dagger in the heart for 2/3 cameras.
I saw the AF100 at Midtown Video Miami, loved the look with zeiss compact primes, the lumix 14-140 not so much. I'd really like to see a comparison of the AF100, HMC150, and the GH2.
With the AF100 leading the charge and sony following, is anyone considering buying a 2/3 camera? The biggest missing piece for a AF 100 EFP package seems to be a cine/video zoom lens. Now where is that Lumix 14-140 2.8 lens with servo zoom?
