LTM lighting the manufacturer of pepper lights and HMIs is apparently out of business, although I haven't found any absolute confirmation, there website is no where to be found. Anyone have any information?

I don't know either... I have been wanting to contact them about getting a yoke for an old pepper 100 I have kicking around, but I have not been able to find any contact info for them... Honestly have not spent that much time looking, but have noticed the lack of a site for them. If anyone else has any more information I would appreciate it as well.

I heard the other day, from someone who used to work for them, that they were bought out by a competitor and were now basically idle, but technically still in business. This source said that parts were getting difficult to find - but then I went across town to his competitor and got a different story regarding parts availability, although they still didn't have a socket for my Pepper 420. I'm tending to believe the first guy.

Wayback Machine rocks, btw. Maybe the contact info still works.

I saw your post a few days ago, my curiosity was aroused and I tried to find a website as well. No luck.

I wonder if they got too far behind the new tech curve and it bit them in the butt. As I remember, their product line was very tungsten heavy the last time I was on their site. It's a brave new LED, Fluro world...

Oliver, I may be able to help you out with the yoke for your 100. I have a disabled 100 ( housing cracked) sitting around. PM me if you are interested.

Hmmm, socket for the lamp? They are standard so any maker should be able to supply a replacement. Am I missing something?

The 420 has a strange nub on the carriage where the socket fits that prevents a standard socket from being used. The LTM sockets are a slight bit narrower to fit. Interestingly, my 650 pepper lacks this nub, but still has the narrow socket -I may swap that over to the 420 and put the standard socket I have in the 650.

So heres an update on LTM. They are apprarently having some sort of difficulites but they are still in business. I got this information from Barn door lighting in CT who was able to order some pepper parts for me.

LTM has not gone out of business, just sold to a new parent company and they have changed the name. Please let me know what the need is for any of the Pepper parts. We are a national lighting equipment distributor/dealer and would appreciate your business. Our company toll free number is 877-325-9400 and ask for Will or Rob.

Great news. The LTMs are so well built that as long as you can get parts, they will run forever.

I am unaware of a name change, but LTM have been bought out by Piktus. You can order parts directly from Stuart or Roger there, 818-780-9828.

I found this thread when doing a cursory Google search. A few people had a hand in moving one of my 420w Pepper fixtures around our facility without my knowledge, and suddenly the entire focus adjuster knob-screw assembly is missing. And nobody knows how it could have happened! So I went out on a quest for parts.

That's when I got the phone number listed in this thread: 818-780-9828. I called and spoke with Richard Espinoza and have a list of parts to order once I get my boss' signature. Richard said they're in the process of moving to a larger facility and getting a new website up and running.

FYI.

Yup, you can still get spare parts from:
LTM at 818-780-9828
Galaxy Repair at 661-946-3373

In the past few weeks i got a number of spare parts from them - that said some spare parts a very hard to come by.
