Sweet little portrait lense

hey! congratulations with your new purchase!
few questions - do u use it with AF-100 firmware 1.16?? if so could u plz tell about AF ? is it working? how good and reliable it is?

I've ordered the 45mm to compare it against my 1960's vintage Olympus Pen F 38mm f/1.8.

I only use the 38mm on the GH2, where I suspect to still prefer it over the modern lens.

Someday I hope to test out the vintage 40mm 1.4, 60mm 1.5, & 70mm f/2, however last I searched clean versions were hard to find. Spent a bundle on the 42mm f1.2, but it's look is best described as dreamy.

I eat crow.

Received the Zuiko 45mm F1.8, & am impressed, so keeping both.

Doubt I'd use it on the AF100, but it's perfect for a stealthy GH2.

I know what you mean about Stealthy! That's my main rational for getting the GH2.
You could theoretically shoot in a bank, well maybe not a bank. Outside an airport, the FBI building on Wilshire. A restaurant, the list goes on...

I'm impressed enough that I'm trying to secure the 12mm f2.0 locally today.

Combined with the 25mm f/0.95 these seem a great fit for the hacked GH2.

I haven't upgraded the af 100 to1.16. I never use auto focus but it does seem to work ok. Its nice that the lens communicates with the camera and no adapter needed.
