These are pretty cool, although I would do some cc to them. The colors look a bit off. Maybe not though as I'm using a different monitor than usual. Mainly noticed it in the red car-looks purplish. Framing looks pretty good to me though. TIm.
Actually, it is supposed to be cold and depressing. The movie is all about a slightly mentally ill boy who gets kicked out of his home when he "finishes" school, and has to get a life on his own.
Something cold and depressing was just what I aimed for.
WOW you think they are blue... they are nothing compared to some recent stuff I have done, as long as its in context, right? However I have watched two movies recently on star hd here in Tokyo (US movies btw) and they had some scenes where the only discernable coulour was blue. If the glove fits. The only issue I have is focus seems soft.
it looks good miniman it reminds me of george remeros movie MARTIn which was also dpreesing i like it good work mini , what was ur setting on the dvx and i read u used vegas 6 , i have vegs 6 did u use vegas for color correction or MB gives the low down on the CC mini im think used color reversal in MB but not sure am i right ?
I belive the scene file settings actually were the standard F5, 25p with maybe at bit less master-ped. Sorry, I don't remember for sure what I used. I only used "Color Curves" for CC this time.
Oh and the lighting was just a diffused 300W standard "work-lamp".
damnit Miniman! Stop being so good! haha, seriously though, I really like the look of these. CC doesn't appear overdone and the lighting is really good considering the subject matter. Really nice composition as well. You seem to be getting better and better at framing your shots.
Oh, and the room. Yeah, with some lighting it looked good, but space was very limited, although it appears really large for some reason, me and the crew had to put ourselves into every possible corner while shooting!
