The Fishermen - Things could never be like before

Hey

Hey

Hey,

My name is Romanita ,aka Karla:) I am very pleased to see all these good reviews regarding the film.My heart`s full of joy:) And i`m not a *****:)).It was very heard to scream at Tedy and Alice:)

Those 2 days of shooting in Buftea,at MediaPro Studios ,were absolutely magical. We had fun,we laughed, and ...we worked very hard, despite the cold(we had no heat:)) and it seems we did a good job.For me,as an actrice it`s a joy when u say that I stepped on u`r nerves and that i was a *****:))..that means i did my part well.

And Alex Whitmar, thank you...i`m very happy to know that u liked my acting...i was really nervous when i read the script for the first time. It`s unlike me:)

And,Tedy,thank u for this oportunity...!I hope we`ll do this again,soon!!!

Hollywood...whatch out..here we come!!!:))

I hate to say that I had no idea what to expect going in but it was a very pleasant surprise. I enjoyed this film a lot.

There were some technical things but they kind of become irrelevant in light of the performances. There was one part where I couldn't quite make out a line that was said but it didn't matter because the emotions and the context were on the screen and the actor's faces so I understood what was said.

The film felt genuine and wasn't heavy-handed which could be an easy place to go with this kind of material. You guys made a very good film.

LOL! :)

Of course not. I meant as an actor of course. :)
I wasn't sure what the motivation was for the freak out while they were watching TV? Just to keep them out of the way of the party?

Maybe you can shed some light on that?

Thanks!

MAH

Wonderful story! I agree with technical issues already pointed out and also agree the story made it worth the time.

Hello,

I'm Beatrice---Alice's mother!
Thank you very much to all of you for watching the movie! Thank you for all your comments!
Thank you Tedy for all you done for this project, for being a good brother to Alice!:)
Special thanks to Alex--without him, without his wonderful script, nothing of this never happened!:)

Thanks. Means a lot.

There was some angst here as all this came together with mostly strangers, two languages, and a couple bucks.

I bet the 'missing line' is between brother and sister at the party?

"When dad was unhappy, he went fishing"

Thanks for watching!

Hello, I'm Beatrice---Alice's mother!

Hi Bety, great to have you stop by.

Be sure and give Alice a big thank you from me and all of us. Really came together nicely! To think it all started with one 'Hello?' on my IM.

Cheers!

Alex

I loved this!! Congratulations to everyone involved -really beautiful, heartwarming, honest little movie - you should all be very proud of what you've achieved - got a kick of hearing my guitar too I must say - it's a privilege to be part of this in some small way!

What a nice film! I loved the story and the diversity in characters to make that story work. Sweet and heart-breaking. I wish the actors spoke in their native language. If they did their delivery would have been stronger. They are all great. Fantastic job.

Touching story. Technical issues aside. I really hope this makes it further along in the fest. One of my favorites.

Very well done, the performances felt very genuine, I totally bought the relationship between the brother and younger sister, I am sure everything else has been said much better that I can do it as far as critiques etc. Good job!

nice acting, composition, and sound man. I've been to Romania...Timisoara that is. awesome looking place. anyways...only critique I have is that the blacks seem crushed to death. Or the contrast is too high. I can never tell. I'm sure you know what I mean.

nick, it is an extreme form of film look in post. But i like it here. Timisoara....I have few memories from there... hehe. What did you there?

I know the technical issues crash. Th sound is a devil.

WOW. What a pleasant and touching story. It was an absolute pleasure to watch. 10 stars for Alice.

Hey Sarah,

Yes, everyone is proud of what they accomplished. Your guitar is bigger than 'some small way'. I can't imagine the film without it.

Cheers,
