"The DARE" - a ZazaCast Film

Ehhh...Don't know what to say.

I like the filming and the grade? haha.

I guess it was funny. Good sweat and head shaking, that was an eat effect. The music really worked to.

It's good to have a laugh here and there!

Lol, cute & original!

Though it got a tad repetitious, I enjoyed the sweat build up & head shake as he struggled to break free of his confines. :)

Haha, that is not at all what I expected from this film.

Cute film, as is that Harry Houdini bobblehead.

The focus was very sharp, and there were some nice images.

Loved how the film lasted the proper amount of time for the story.

The sweat was cool too.

Simple, but well done.

I liked your character development, no cardboard characterizations here! Although the supporting actor seemed to have his head in the clouds...

Hilarious! I loved it!

Second rounds ...

Still dang funny. And way to keep the cast manageable and low maintenance.

Hmm, for my next film, I wonder if Paris Hilton has a bobble head? Um yeah, like 24/7.

You always bring a light-hearted and unique look to your film.

Very nice.

aw

What did I just watch? HAHA are you mocking us?

Is my computer exploding or is it really just the moon and the bobblehead the entire time? haha. Audacious move either way man.

okay so i laughed through the whole thing, i was seriously thinking that something was going to happen to near the end that would explain better the bobblehead...very very simple

They came, they laughed, they left...success!
Sometimes less IS more.

I'm glad you enjoyed it.

never turn down the oppurtunity to be creative they always say...

This film is an in-depth look into the mind of the greatest illusionist to date...Harry Houdini. Through the use of the bobble-head, I am exploring the psyche of this master magician as he attempted, for the first time ever, to escape from a straightjacket in under one minute.

It is a little known fact that, in 1892, he had actually accepted a bet from a colleague and for the first time in his life failed. We watch time pass and see him struggle to escape. Through it all Harry never loses his composure, even as sweat beads-up from his intense effort to dislocate his shoulder joint and achieve success. Harry is determined, yet even in failure, he never loses his composure.

This short film represents the sheer will of mankind, the intestinal fortitude we all have to succeed, and the self-respect to hold our heads high and know that we gave it our all, even in the face of failure (loss).

….or

It was just a really funny minute of your life.
You be the judge.

HAHAHA! After watching the damned thing and wishing I had that minute and twenty seconds of my life back, I decided to read your thread. ALL of the lead up, the BS, the 45 page script, the research, everything! You are officially crowned LossFest's biggest jackass. You can quote me on that.

I loved it.

I'm angry at myself for how high of a rating I gave this film. But I couldn't stop laughing. Nice.

Thanks Armisiano! Figures I couldn't get you to watch either of the two films I entered in TwilightFest...but you did get to this one (my kind of luck).

What you have to remember is most illusions are all about the build-up, the patter...the thread is part of the whole concept...a prequel if you will.

Oh... and I've added your quote to my signature...thanks again!
Cheers.
