Brand New Kitty - SPG Productions

Hilarious, It's was so freanking funny.... Great job....
DId you guys work from a script or was it Improv with an outline or a combo of both?

What can I say I'm a sucker for Funny,

E.

hahah. wow. i'm totally surprised by these overwhelmingly positive reactions so far!

thanks everyone! and now i am about to start the list of films myself and super juiced for it!

also, the film was written and improv-ed by all of us. gotta stay loose to keep it interesting!

haha, that was such a fun film! The laughs were brought consistently, the story was a clever melding of Pet Cemetery and a little Weird Science, and the image and sound were consistent.

There were a few moments when the sound began to break down the signal from too much peaking, but other than that, the film didn't have many "flaws" per se, just aesthetic nit-picks.

Also, the music was surprisingly effective. For the amount of laughs brought, I commend you.

HAHAHAAHAHAAHAAAAAHAHAAHAHAHA. "WHOA WHOA WHOAAA"

"shot on location in fairborn, ohio"

that was amazing.

HAHAHAHAHAA when they bend their knees when they're singing. wow. that was fun.

thanks dude!

the sound issue was something that happened sadly during the compression and i couldn't seem to fix it (i spent about 10 hours trying to, recompressing over and over). so i just gave in eventually. haha.

You are the Oh in my personal Ohio. Very fun. So glad to see someone else did a comedy and I'm not the only one.

This was hilarious. It actually made me laugh out loud.

The microwave discussion and the "what's new pussycat" song were my favorite moments.

Brilliant. A twisted comedy gem.

Very well done.

Glad to see a comedy. I laughed out loud pretty hard when they were singing and the grave digger put the box in, didn't fit, so he just smashed it into the hole. Great job guys, just next time try to get the sound working better.

This was very funny, those guys are idiots, in a good way. I wish the last bit with the book had been as funny as everything before it, but good job!

"Whats new pussy-cat WOOAHOOOAAAHOOOAAAH" Another dim-witted comedy, I'm not the only one! :) Guys I thought this was really funny. All the stuff in the kitchen takes a while, pacing-wise, but it feels worthwhile for when they're balling when the cat's being buried. The incantation bit at the at the end sort of lost momentum but overall thought it was great and little stuff like stomping the make-shift coffin and "it smells like deer jerky" had me rolling on the floor.

Loved it. I laughed out loud at the 'what's up pussy cat scene'. And that means a lot, I'm a big curmudgeon and I think my heart grew two sizes. Oh, wait I was laughing at a nuked kitty. Oh, well. Great Job!

how odd! my personal favorite is all the stuff in the end/with the book!

just goes to show how subjective film and comedy are!
