yeah that was a bit dark i did that sophomore year in highschool.


but the cardboard world video was shot xh-a1, CC:in color and a tiny bit in magic bullet looks, and edited in FCP

I remember on the day of the shoot thinking, "this is the last project I do with the DVX". HD woulda been nice, but all in all, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I'd love to get feebdback.

Description: Actually we shot two music videos at the same time within a two day period in Seattle. More about the shoot and the band at the GuerrillaMonster site.

Shot with my DVX100A @ 24P. Edited, image manipulation, color-correction and simple composites were done with Vegas 7. The newspaper flyin effect in So Screwed Up was done in After Effects (much better motion blurring).

Here is my first videoclip with DVX 100 original and SGPRO REV 3 non flipped.
Nikkor lenses: 50mm 1:1.2 28mm 1:2 85mm 1:1.4

Allmost all the scenes were shotted with 35mm adapter. Only the scene of persecution in Wide angle was shoted with a wide angle adapter.

The color corrector was maked in camera scene settings with a little touch of color correction in Final Cut.

Locations in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.

The song tell the story of a boy who decided to commit a crime to "give sense" to his boring life and for to be "someone" in the block. But the destiny maked him a bad joke...

Pros:
Nice cuts...edit overall was pretty good.
Liking the high shutter stuff.
Looks pretty clean
Liked the intercuting of the movie in one of them
Like the flashes to black and white

Cons:
Both vids look basically the same. Maybe u shud mix the locations
one of the drummers looked like he jus rolled out of bed and did the vid. Wardrobe help.
Looks underexposed. I guess u were goin for some high contrast dark shots. but sometimes the whole shot looked underexposed.

We just shot this video on my trusty old DVX100A, in my Koreatown apartment LIVING ROOM! Booyah!

just proud of the image quality.

It's two videos jammed into one. The second half is the impressive half.
