Swap XH-A1 NTSC for XH-A1 PAL

Hi,

i brought a canon XH A1 in NTSC and its turned out that i need a PAL one now.

does anyone have a PAL one they would like to arrange a swap for a NTSC one?

its new and undamaged. been used a couple of times but been loved since it was unboxed.

yeah this is what iv been reading but i just spoke to some guy at canon and he was pretty useless. sorry if this sounds ignorant but what is this upgrade about?
 
your cam will have dual nationality l.o.l. ok lame.

When you upgrade it, the cam will be NTSC / Pal Swicthable.
Its like having 2 cameras .
 
ha yeah i get the dual nationality bit. im just curious as to how long it takes.. is it a hardware upgrade?.. where is the switchable function on the camera.. also you say 500usd but im in england so would a UK service center do the upgrade for a unit brought in the US. i realize these are all questions for canon customer services so i wont ask to bore you with a reply!
