You can borrow my boom and mic if you need one. Not sure if the shock mount will support your mic though, it's for an AT897. If you need any help with anything let me know, and I'll see what I can do, just message me on MySpace.
Awesome! Thanks for the offer! I ended up remembering that I left it at a friends after a shoot we did. So, I'll be swinging by and pick that up tomorrow.
I do have a question about another piece of gear so I'll contact you on MySpace.
We are shooting this Saturday/Sunday and then we should be done. Might have to record some VO, etc. after that but the shooting should be finished. And then it's time for a lot of post production which I enjoy!
Haha! Wow! (Somebody likes the really wide angle lens)
No...not related to that film. Although it looks like they used almost the exact same font as I chose. Maybe that means something!
Out of curiosity (this is something I wondered before) if someone else has already made a film by the same name does that mean it cannot be used again? What if it is something generic like a number ("Seven") or a term (I don't know...like "Placebo")?
I'm sure there are much smarter people out there than me who could enlighten me in this area. I know a friend of mine made a film and when he was starting to promote it he got a cease and desist letter from some people who had a film with the same title...crazy.
Finished Day 2 of shooting. Got a lot of really great stuff! Can't wait to watch it back on my HD screen. But first I must go to sleep and get ready for Day 3 of shooting (and last day of shooting...hopefully).
We had a really great PA on set today who took some BTS video/stills so hopefully I will have plenty of stuff to post between now and the opening of the festival.
I just found this, think it answers your question.
