Removal of NOISE and MACRO BLOCKS from HVX and DVX footage solved!!!!!!!

I've been using Neat Image Pro for a couple years for stills and love it. I'll be picking this up for certain when the FCP version comes out. I just came across this thread, glad it got bumped.
 
Got an email from them today saying:

"Not yet, but we are going to develop such versions in the coming months. I will let you know by e-mail when we have something for FCP or AE for Mac."

Maybe they have a robot for answering that kind of questions:huh:

Seriously, can som techie explain to me, how difficult it is to rewrite this plugin so it works in FCP?
I guess it means coding from scratch, but is it that unpredictable that you can´t say "we´ll have it working in 3 months"?

BTW are there any other apps out there achieveing similar results and maybe on a Mac?
 
Considering at least half of the users here probably work on a Mac, does anyone know any FCP alternatives?

I'm chiming in to say that this program has amazing results, and I used it to post an HVX movie. After blowing it up to a movie theater screen size it looked on par with other movies I've seen in the theater.

All of the actors couldn't believe that we got that quality out of a regular HVX200 (they thought it was just some small camcorder)

Are you talking of Neats or Nattresses PlugIn...?
 
Why on earth is this not done yet for FCP?!? I know that software development takes a long time but if that is the case then don't say that it will be done by last freaking February!! So does anyone know of any other things to do the same thing in FCP? I suppose that I could just get the NeatImage plug for Photoshop and export as a Tiff sequence...

Nattress seems to have a pretty decent NoiseRemoval PI, but it´s for COLOR and this has kept me from trying it...
I hope this will come out for color and make use of the GPU acceleration...
 
seems neat video has released an after effects version for macintosh.
thats of no value to my workflow, but it shows progress!

maybe FCP is next...

I'm not after FX savvy, so I'll see if I can get my friend to do it.

Although if there was a FCP version of this I would have bought it already!
