I just embraced my new dvx and i named her.

haha my tomtom is named Sheila, so my DVX will probably have to be a boy...they don't work together, but both get me from A to B...I'm guessing Japedo...thats a good name
 
Peace! My apologies my peoples: i named my dvx 100A Da'Vita Xoho (so-ho) because she is so tricky. I'm in love and I must learn her: she is so time consuming. All I want to do is shoot. Tell me, am I an addict?
 
I tell everyone that my DVX is my mistress.
My wife and I recently renewed our vows for our tenth year anniversary. I told her I had second thoughts because I was in love with another. Long live my sweet little darling DVX. My wife thinks I'm obsessed. Oh well.
 
Congrats on the purchase! If you're going to be sticking with SD for a while (especially since HD is still so expensive), you made a great choice. This camera will not let you down once you learn all of its functions and possibilities.

Yes, you certainly are an addict. And in no way is film/video/dvxing a bad thing to be addicted to.
