The Official "Next Fest" Idea Submission Thread

[Simon Höfer]

Being from Scotland our WesternFest film would be hilarious though, and god knows what entries from Asia would be like!

Well, look out for the film "Sukiyaki Western Django". Then you know what a Asian western looks like

[lawriejaffa]

True Enough! Your film falling was like a post apocaylptic Western Maybe a WesternFest could have a broad enough description to let us use 'archetypes, epic landscapes, life and death conflicts etc' - something like that *shrugs*

[Tom Marshall]

GilliamFest. Every film has to be somewhat out there, but enjoyable none the less.

[lawriejaffa]

lol you mean like Twilightfest except with stomping feet graphics!

[Tom Marshall]

Oh but he's done so much more than just Monty Python.

[Mattykins]

I guess it's loss fest.

Which I am kinda bummed about. I think we had a ton of amazing ideas here.

[Jason Ramsey]

this is an ongoing list though, guys... One of these days, I'll get around to compiling them all in the top post and just keep adding to them as you guys come up with them.

Maybe, once we get a good list, for next fest we can do a poll...

Later,
Jason

Simon that is one of the coolest westerns ever...Good call thats what i was talking about. Wouldn't it be cool to see so many different interpretations on westerns man that would be cool. Oh well Lossfest it is. DAMN!!!!
Pauly

BTW rent that movie it kicks ass...

[lawriejaffa]

Loss fest isnt a bad idea, i know we think right off - oh its emotional melodrama, but loss can be fairly flexible, and it will force folk to tell tales that deal with emotional, and more on performance. Good be a welcome boost for some and yey ill be entering this time!

[Michael Anthony Horrigan]

LossFest is cool. You can pull off any idea posted in this thread and have it fit the new LossFest theme.
I won't be in Loss Fest but it will be fun watching what everyone comes up with.

Good luck, guys!

Mike

Are you looking for a writer?

Are you looking for a writer?

I would be happy to supply a short screenplay free of charge to a serious director.
I have a couple top-ten screenplays on TriggerStreet and one Screenplay of the month on Zoetrope. I have tons of short script samples.

I can supply the idea or work with you on one.

If you are interested email me at 'keaton01@hotmail.com'

[Todd Banks]

I'm with Chris, message me if interested.

[Jason Ramsey]

you guys should post in the "ether" section in the loss fest forum for collaboration.

Hello,

I'm new here and I've tried to read as much helpful threads as I can. I can see that there are three to four fests a year. I was wondering what the date of the next fest was?

Also, the registering here was iffy. You need to change the 'year it is' to 2009.

When the new fest comes around, how do you submit?

Regards,

Javier

Might sound harsh but a lot could be done, in all genres, with Hatred.

[Zak Forsman]
