Hmm, maybe he enyoyed it but tries to fool himself? Or he tries to fool us?
Maybe HE tortured the girls and then told them to erase his memory so he could be tortured again without knowing he actually enyoys it?

Interesting film. I'm not a big fan of narrated flicks, but this one caught my attention. It was a nice ride into a wacky world. I'd like to see what you can do with dialog. Keep making films

I am a big fan of An_Enchanting_Twist_Of_Peccadilloes; I watch it allready four times.

Yes, I don't like narration flicks also, but I am somehow satisfied with result.

As we didn't had enoght time, and ended with HV20, we couldn't attach to it our standard phantom mics. We actually tried with another ( battery driven ) mic, but the sound was unusable..

I wanted to catch up the wibe of older Twilight zone series, as much as I remembered; I saw only like 10 of them, like 10 years ago..

I promiss, that next movie will be with dialogs,

To be honest, I didn't get it :) It is also true that I'm not a fan of twilight zone types of movies nor narrations :P Well maybe I shouldn't get it. All in all plot line is "What happened to Bo Bella???" ;)

But for the first entry, this is really good. I've seen many, many worse ones :)
Locations were really good. That bathroom-look-like locations was like in Saw :) You had genuine and believable(which is hard) Police uniform. Mood was great (massage saloon) and I liked camera too.

Anyway...
Few points for next entry (from users perspective):
1. Start sooner :P, open thread, post poster, post grabs, be active :) This way you will surely have more watchers/voters. People will remember your movie title before it even gets to vote. I mark good thread and watch those movies first. And I'm sure I'm not the only one whit this system :)
2. English was... Not perfect :) It would be much better with Slovene language and English subs. You can't avoid accent :)
3. Why file format of 720 x 576 if movie was WS? Those black bars were needless.
4. Where did you get that entry scene? :) Second part was like from Tu pa tam ;)

Can't wait for you next entry!

I agree with you, honestly..

Location were in some abonded house in Maribor, and I just waited when the whole house will fall apart. The police uniform was from Theatre fundus; we had luck to get it without any problems.

1. I meet my co-director ( Robert Hedzet ) firs time 7 days before the deadline, and if there werent his energy and will, this movie would never went to production..
Next time it will be much sooner ( I hardly wait for a new subject )..

2. English was deseaster..but..the original Bo Bella speak English like he is from the last Russian village.. :))) Version with Slovenian narration is coming soon

3. Adobe premiere.. We done editing at Sunday and Monday (deadline)..
When finished ( at afternoon ) Adobe project errorred and it was impossible to open it again.. We were forced to use miniDV version that we export just for test..

Pitty; on HDV everithing looks like engrawed on mirrorr.. clear as hell..

4. Entry scene was custom made from one of our FX guys.. He allready done somnething similar for some Online-casino-add..but he changed some things and render it again ( one day of rendering )..
The scene from Tu Pa Tam is pure 2D.. buildings on this one are 100% 3D.. but because of codec, it is impossible to see that..

Congratulations on getting this one done in English. I am one who thinks it should always be done in the native language and then subtitled for a more real performance and grittier style. A great example would be Day Watch and Night Watch, both of these films have a far more entertaining look done in the native language and not dubbed over or made just for an American audience. I say make us feel it and do it that way and then go back and make an English cut if you want to. I am looking forward to seeing the other version.

Course, I agree with you.. But on the other hand, there is nothing so tipical Slovenian in that movie.. not even Police uniform.. And we didn't plan to do it that way..

It is some kind of Universal world, where immigrants don't speak the perfect English language..

But if you guys so much insist on Slovenian, we will filmed at least one short movie in native language for the next fest!!!

Anybody already watch this movie? it is a good story and acting ... I recommend to watch this film!

I agree about native language, the english idioms did not translate. I didn't like that it was all voice over. And I didn't get the theme.
