HPX170 Lens Wobble Improved

I've dealt with Jim Fast in the past and I can say Panasonic is truly lucky to have him on staff.
He's a fantastic person to deal with.

nice!

I hardly ever saw a company react like this! try this with apple, sony whoever....I must say this thread and its result are a rare thing to see and it put panny in a good light !

Right... so shipping is not being covered to Canada by Spec-Comm or more importantly Panasonic. It's actually going to be cheaper for me to drive to Spec-Comm in Maryland than to have it shipped there and back... and safer too.

The only bright side is that I can hit B&H in NY on my way down and save some money on shipping for a large order I was planning.

I hope this camera is worth the hassle.

In post #589 I posted this:

ARG! I just got word that a client will NOT use me to shoot his project because he fears the HPX will provide frame instability when rack focusing so they're going to use another dude who has a 200a. wtf man......... I sold my A1 so that I can grab more gigs and now this!?

Has ANYONE heard from Jan?

That was $1,800 down the drain!

It was a two day shoot, I could have used that BIG time...

Why did you not just subrent a 200a for say, 400 for two days? It sounds like the gig would still be worth it.

Hi,

Apologies if I'm repeating someone, but for people in Europe with the problem....

I have ordered a repair via the Panasonic Broadcast website after registering my camera. They organise DHL to pick up, all you have to do is to follow the instructions they give you.
